Privacy Policy
Rosano Web ("we," "us") is a small web design and SEO studio based in the South Carolina Lowcountry. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and client work, how we use it, and the choices you have. This is a general policy written in plain English — it is not legal advice.
What we collect
When you fill out a contact form on this site or email us directly, we collect the information you choose to share, which typically includes:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number (if you choose to share it)
- Business name (if you choose to share it)
- What you'd like help with and any project details you write in your message
We also collect basic, anonymized analytics about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device type). We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from this analytics data.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the services you hire us for.
- To understand which pages and referral sources are working, so we can improve the site.
- To send project updates and invoices to active clients.
How it's stored
Contact form submissions are stored in our backend database, which is hosted by a third-party cloud provider. Access is limited to Rosano Web. Emails you send us are stored in our normal email provider.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party tools to run the business, and your information may pass through them:
- Our cloud backend and hosting provider (stores form submissions and serves the site).
- Google Analytics (aggregated visitor statistics).
- Cal.com (if you book a call, they collect your name, email, and chosen time).
- Our email provider (delivers messages between us).
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing what they do with data on their end.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, mostly to make analytics work. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still function.
Deletion requests
You can ask us to delete any personal information we've stored about you at any time. Just email alex@rosano.ai and we'll take care of it.
